For Valentine's this year, Kyle & I combined our budget and went to see Stars On Ice. It was really fun! Basically it's an ice skating show that has several famous ice skaters, etc from around the world. I took a few pics, but it was with the small digital camera we own that doesn't have a zoom lens. Needless to say, they aren't that great. We also couldn't use a flash during the show, so even pics with my nice camera probably wouldnt' have turned out.
If you have never seen Stars On Ice, I would highly recommend going the next time they are in your town. Most of the kids at the show looked bored & got fidgety, so it is mainly for I would say Junior HIgh age on up.
After the ice show we came back home & I cooked Kyle a yummy dinner of his favorite....shrimp! We had fried shrimp, fried coconut shrimp, twice baked potatoes, salad, & bread. Yum-o! I also got a cute card from Kyle with a little boy on the front of it smelling roses (which reminded me of our little Kent right away). I won't share what Kyle wrote on the inside, but it was very sweet!
Speaking of Kent, I had the "official" ultrasound at my doctor's office this past Friday. (Yes, the one where they tell the sex of the baby). The sonographer didn't know that we already knew, but he confirmed it in about 2 seconds by saying, "it's definitely a boy. I will pay for this boy's college education if I'm wrong." So that seals it, if there were any doubts at this point. Kyle kind of wished he would have gotten the sonographer to sign his name to his statement, but oh well. Kent is progressing nicely. At the ultrasound the sonographer said he was right at 1 pound in weight on Friday. The pics that were taken look pretty much like what you see for my week 20 ultrasound and my computer scanner isn't working, so I won't worry about posting those at this time.
Happy Belated Valentine's everyone!
