Kyle's aunts & cousins from Alabama and Colorado came to town for the party, which was a lot of fun. Many of these people we had not seen since either our wedding or Brett & Amanda's wedding, so it was wonderful to see
everyone again.
Earlier in the day we had a couple of hours to relax...some people went to Six Flags, others went to the Zoo, most people enjoyed swimming in Billy & Paula's pool.
At the party, we did a combination of ordered food from Black Eyed Pea (a restaurant that they don't have in Ohio...home cooked food that is really

After enjoying the food, Grandma Herd then read all of her cards. Many people were able to find specific "90th birthday" cards, which made it more
special.
I was in charge of entertainment, so earlier this past week I had family members send me memories of Grandma Herd. My goal was to have 90 Grandma Herd memories to read to her at the party, of which I succeeded with the help of everyone! So I read all of these memories as we enjoyed dessert.
We then played a "Grandma Herd favorites" game to see who could guess her favorite things, based on questions I had e-mailed to her earlier that week. Needless to say, the team with Grandpa Herd on it definitely had an edge!
What a blessing to live to see 90 years! I admire Grandma Herd & look forward to the idea of celebrating her 100th birthday! :)

I'm glad it's a memory now but it will be fun to replay for years to come. Susie, you did a great job with the food and fun and made our party very special.
Looks like lots of fun! I haven't ever had any of your food (I'm sure I'll get to try it soon enough)...but I know Paula's food is out-of-this-world yummy!!!! For some reason this post is making me very hungry this morning! lol
Neat game! 90 memories... I like that one. Good idea, Susie!
