THE MAGIC TIME MACHINE:
FAMILY PHOTO...
Here is a family picture from the restaurant described in our time together below.
Let us know what you think of our beautiful family! Look closely!
They arrived on Saturday night and flew back to Little Rock this morning. They are moving Kristen into her dorm at Harding & then will be driving home to Ohio.
On Saturday night we had dinner at a restaurant called "The Magic Time Machine." If you are not familar with it, the waitstaff dresses up like various characters (Disney, from movies, celebrities) and they act like the character they
are dressed up as. We had "Where's Waldo?" as
our waiter, if you remember those books from when you were a kid. Napoleon Dynamite did come to bus our table, which was pretty funny. We ended up celebrating Kristen's birthday at this restaurant, which is why you see her on the first picture with a funny balloon hat. This is the type of restaurant that does crazy things like yell "move out of the way, she's really gotta pee!" if you ask where the bathroom is. So it was a fun place to go, as you can tell from the first picture. (Kristen has the original copy in her dorm room at school...people are going to think she has a STRANGE family!)

We of course had to eat at Taco Bueno with my parents. (This is Kyle's absolute favorite restaurant, for those of you who don't know...it really is better than Taco Bell).
We then enjoyed the Ranger's game on Sunday night. As you can tell from the pictures, the ballpark sold out. haha!
It was VERY HOT at the game...so hot, in fact, that it was still 95 degrees at 10:00pm! As you can tell from the photo, my mom was so hot that she took napkins, dipped them in ice water, & then put them all over her body. We
ended up moving to the top of the ballpark to try to get some more air...imagine what it would have been like if it were crowded!
On Monday my parents & Kristen got to hang out with Kyle. They did come to see where I work & brought me lunch which was an upper to my day. I was sad to have to work, but didn't have much of a choice being a new employee.
Now we are back to our usual routine. Time for me to make dinner...it's pizza night! What a blessing when family comes to visit. To my Ohio family & friends-- come anytime, just be sure to call ahead!

Looks like you had a great time with your parents. Hope the hot weather doesn't scare them off. Enjoyed dinner last night with them.
That picture was a little freaky. Glad y'all had fun. It's been way too hot here too.
We had a great time in Texas....however we want to make it clear that we don't look like any of the pictures that are on the blog!
Yay!!!! For some reason I just now got an email from my dad telling me about your blog! I'm sooo excited that you have a blog now!!!!
The first picture is REALLY scary!!! I didn't read the story at first and was having a hard time figuring the picture out. Now it just makes me laugh!!!
Yikes! I vote that you all keep your own faces. God put them on each of our bodies and they fit - don't go messing with it!!!
That is really funny!
