8 week old cutie!

Here is our cute Kent right after he was born. He is now 8 weeks old today. In some ways, the time really has gone fast. And in other ways, the time has gone slow.

To date, here is some stuff we have discovered Kent likes/dislikes, and is able to do:
1.) He likes to be held, but ends up disliking it if you hold him too long.
2.) He likes his bath, but dislikes getting dried off in a towel where he is cold.
3.) He likes to be warm, but dislikes the cold. (guess I'm glad we live in TX).
4.) He likes to eat, but dislikes it when his reflux acts up.
5.) He likes to have his diaper changed, and dislikes the obvious dirty diaper.
6.) He likes to have some alone time, but dislikes being by himself when he is awake for more than about 10-15 minutes. He doesn't really know what to do with himself when he is awake & not eating at the present.
7.) He is making spontaneous smiles, but at this point still cries more.
8.) He is sleeping through the night! Woohoo!
9.) He did flip himself over from belly to back a couple of nights ago. This event was missed by both of his parents, but we hope to actually see him do it soon.
10.) He is able to lift up his head pretty well when he is playing on his belly. See the pic below.
11.) He likes to ride in his stroller for walks, but dislikes it when you stop the stroller to talk with a neighbor or are shopping at the mall. You have to keep moving with Kent! :)
12.) He likes to watch baby einstein videos. Kyle tried one out the other day on him, and he was fixated on it for the entire time! I've never seen one of these videos yet, but know I will get my fair share of them in the future.
13.) He likes to swing in his baby swing sometimes, but usually he starts out mad as a hornet in it & then he eventually falls asleep.
14.) He likes to sleep on his belly, and dislikes sleeping on his back.

Well, that's all I can think of right now. We go for his 2 month doctor appointment after we get back from our trip to Ohio, so I'll put his weight, etc after I know it. Ok, need to go....my little man is screaming in his bouncy seat. :)
