Kent's reflux sonogram on Thursday revealed that he had 2 episodes of reflux in a 10 minute period. His pediatrician has referred him to a gastroenterologist at Cook Children's for further evaluation. Right now his appointment is scheduled for later this month.
In the meantime we are still giving him a medication to help with the reflux. We are hoping that this problem will fix as Kent continues to grow more everyday. He has started to eat a little bit better, even when nursing, so I am hopeful that he will continue to get better.
Through all of this, I'm thankful that Kent is still a healthy baby overall. This little reflux thing I know will pass and in a few years, I'll look back at this like it was nothing. I thank God for Kent everyday.
