Kent slept through the night last night! Hallelujah! In case you want more details, he slept from about 10:30-6:30, which was an awesome stretch. I woke up at 4:30 to check on him & make sure he was still alive, which he was. For the past week, when he would wake up around 2-3am to eat, I noticed he wouldn't eat much & would fall back asleep. So about 5 nights ago I decided to try repositioning him in his crib & putting his pacifier in his mouth at that time when he woke up. Well, the first night I did it, he slept until 5:30 without needing to eat. So last night we tried putting Kent on his stomach to start out sleeping (I know, you are supposed to put them on their backs now, but I'm putting my baby on his belly. He is so big he can lift up his head, so I think he'll be ok.). Well, by doing this, last night we had success!
I know that there are probably still going to be occasional nights where Kent may wake up for a while, but last night gave me hope. Now if only we could get this eating/reflux situation figured out. His reflux sono is tomorrow, so I hope to find out more soon. I'll keep the blog updated for those of you who read the blog & aren't on facebook. Thanks for all of your continued prayers & encouragement! I'm so glad we are seeing results of our Babywise guide for sleep! :)

As a born stomach sleeper, I can relate to Kent.

Hooray for Kent....and y'all! It's amazing what a good night's sleep can do for your sanity. Miss you guys!
Yay!!! You will feel like a new woman!
P.S. Both of my boys slept on their tummies from the time they came home from the hospital. They would cry and cry on their backs...but go right to sleep on their tummies.
